The Services offered by Brown Family dentistry include:

Cleanings

Regularly scheduled cleanings help you keep your teeth their whitest and your gums their healthiest. They also help your Hygienist and Dentist prevent, detect, and treat any oral diseases to support your overall physical health and vitality. A beautiful smile helps you look great, feels great, and boosts your confidence!

Examinations (New Patient & Ongoing)

New Patient Exams usually include a full mouth set of radiographs, cleaning and exam. We will explain all treatment options and set a treatment plan that best fits each patient.

Tooth Colored Fillings

Tooth Colored Fillings provide your Dentist with the means to match the color of your existing teeth. Patients are no longer restricted to the metal colored fillings of days past.

Implant Dentistry

Brown Family Dentistry restores Dental Implants, from single tooth replacement to full mouth dentures. . A Dental Implant replaces the root or roots of a tooth. Dental Implants are secured in the jawbone and are not visible once surgically placed. They are used to secure crowns (the parts of teeth seen in the mouth), bridgework or dentures. Dental Implants help you eat, chew, smile, talk and look completely natural.

Cosmetic Veneers

Cosmetic Veneers are thin, custom made shells of dental materials designed to match the natural look of your teeth. They are bonded to the surface of the tooth in order to improve your appearance. Your dentist will discuss which material is best for you.

Gum Therapy (Scaling & Root Planing)

A deep cleaning ("Scale & Root Planing") is used to treat adverse conditions that can develop as the result of plaque and tartar that have built up on your teeth. "Scaling" is the process of scraping off the tartar from above and below the gum line. "Root planing" removes rough spots on the tooth root where the germs gather, and can help remove bacteria that contribute to gum disease. Your dentist or hygienist will recommend this procedure if needed.

Extractions

After reviewing all of the available treatment options available for your damaged teeth, your dentist may determine that the choice that makes the most sense for you is removing the tooth. Other reasons may include overcrowding of your mouth. On occasion, teeth may be removed as a prerequisite for Orthodontia (properly aligning the teeth).

Crowns & Bridges

Crowns, as well as many Bridges, are prosthetic devices that are permanently fitted to your mouth. They are not designed to be removed and cleaned like Dentures. A Crown entirely covers a damaged tooth or cover an Implant. Bridges most often cover a space where you are missing one or more teeth. Bridges and Crowns help maintain the overall structure and strength of your teeth.

Denture and Partials

Dentures are removable replacements for missing teeth and surrounding tissues. They may either replace your complete set of teeth or as a partial when some natural teeth remain. We make both and we also reline dentures. Relining is the process that is used to address changes that occur in your mouth after tooth extraction in order to ensure that your dentures fit firmly but also comfortably. We can replace one tooth, multiple teeth, or a full set of teeth, depending on our patients' individual needs.

Bleaching (Teeth Whitening)

We make custom made bleaching trays that you can take home. The trays are placed over your teeth for the number of days and daily duration specified by your Dentist, with the end result being a noticeably lighter share of tooth enamel. Trays can be stored in a case and used in the future. If you run out of bleach, we sell individual tubes of bleach for future touch-ups.

TMJ Disorders

Temporomandibular joint and muscle disorders ("T.M.D.") refer to the conditions that cause pain and dysfunction in the jaw joint and the muscles that control jaw movement. Your Dentist will begin by taking note of your symptoms, reviewing your detailed medical and dental history, and examining problem areas, including the head, neck, face, and jaw.
